“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need”
(Hebrews 4:16)

Pray for….

-Growth of an intercessory community
-All members of the church to respond to the call to pray
-Times of corporate prayer to be filled with believing hearts
-Personal prayer and communion with God to be valued and non-negotiable
-Bearing of one another’s burdens through prayer
-Our prays to be God-focused and Kingdom-minded
-Prayer to support and saturate everything we do as a church

February: Health of the Church

Leadership

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of advantage to you. Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things” (Hebrews 13:17-18)

Sunday Gatherings

“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:22-25)

Pray for….

-Experience of the presence of God
-Hearts ready to hear and respond to the preached Word
-Joyful celebration of God’s work through song
-Honoring God sacrificially through tithes and offerings
-Unbelievers to be convicted of their sin and turn to Christ
-Building of genuine relationships in the body
-Those in seasons of difficulty to receive comfort
-Visitors to feel welcomed and at home
-Children’s ministry to effectively communicate God’s care
-All who are present to grow in the reality of the Gospel

Men of the Church

-Sweet times of communion with God
-Godly fellowship with other men
-Attentive minds and hearts to receive the preached Word
-Attentive ears to hear the Spirit’s conviction & encouragement
-Wisdom and equipping for God’s calling on their lives
-Strength to lead in the church and in the home
-Freedom from categories of idolatry and bondage
-Renewal in the Spirit and refreshing in the Word
-Increased delight in God and the nearness of his presence
-Abounding love for others and a heart to serve
